Operations Consultation
We begin every engagement with an operations consultation – this is our opportunity to learn about how your firm currently operates, and to identify where AI tools can meaningfully add value. During our operations consultation, we want to find out:
- Your firm’s existing technical setup – What software and AI tools are currently being used by your firm, and where they are being applied;
- Your firm’s ‘people processes’ – How billable work is completed at your firm, with a view to finding opportunities at every step between an initial consultation to a file’s closing. This includes:
- Creating initial consultation processes that maximize the consultation’s value;
- Analyzing how work is assigned, completed and reviewed by supervising lawyers;
- Upskilling staff with AI tools to increase lawyers’ realized time;
- Using AI tools to track and accelerate file progress;
- Using AI tools to improve document management efficiency (finding, tracking and managing documents in complex litigation or corporate matters); and
- Growth and solutions goals – We want to know how CNSL.ai can help your practice grow through thoughtful implementation of AI tools and automated workflows. We also want to identify areas of friction in your practice – your ‘pain points’ – to explore how these can be addressed through customized processes built on AI tools.

Our flagship service – In-Person Training and Solutions Development
Based upon your firm’s needs, our team will develop a tailored program for any combination of your lawyers, clerks and support staff. Training is designed to be practical and role-specific:
- Partners: How to supervise AI-assisted work, manage the progression of files using automated systems, and business development;
- Associates: How to use AI tools for increased efficiency with file management, integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows and reduce time expenditure on review tasks; and

Our initial service package includes in-person training sessions with up to three people per one-hour session. This targeted face-to-face instruction is designed to be interactive, maximizing your investment in training time.
CNSL.ai’s in-person training is complemented by our weekly ‘Field Session’, a 20-minute live webinar that gradually introduces new ideas and tools to your team’s skillset, tailored to your firm’s strategic roadmap.
